IT Support Specialist - device setup (Minneapolis, MN)

Bluepeak Orchard Foods is a Minneapolis food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with allergen controls. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Minneapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
