IT Support Specialist - device setup (Miami, FL)

Cedar Beacon Community Partners is a Miami charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our device setup. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with benefits enrolment. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Miami, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
