IT Support Specialist - device setup (Miami, FL)

Bright Umber Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Miami area. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Miami. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with customer tickets. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Miami, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
