IT Support Specialist - device setup (Madison, WI)

Westbrook Beacon Staffing is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on device setup for temp assignments, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are in the people business and act like it. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with temp assignments. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Madison, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
