IT Support Specialist - device setup (Madison, WI)

Cedar Wren Facilities cleans and maintains buildings for schools, offices and hospitals around Madison, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our device setup. Clear communication between supervisors and crews matters. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with work orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Madison. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
