IT Support Specialist - device setup (Madison, WI)

Silverline Amber Property Management looks after rental homes across the Madison area. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with rent collection. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Madison, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
