IT Support Specialist - device setup (Louisville, KY)

Cedar Birch Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Louisville, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our device setup. You would join a small organisation of about 51 people based in Louisville. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with service connections. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Louisville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
