IT Support Specialist - device setup (Louisville, KY)

We are growing our team at Northwind Rowan Inspection Services and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be device setup. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with test reports. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Louisville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
