IT Support Specialist - device setup (Las Vegas, NV)

Cedar Loom Learning Group operates schools and learning programmes around Las Vegas. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with student accounts. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Las Vegas, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
