IT Support Specialist - device setup (Knoxville, TN)

Greenridge Timber Construction Group is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on device setup for project schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with project schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Knoxville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
