IT Support Specialist - device setup (Knoxville, TN)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Wilder Water Authority and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be device setup. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with treatment plant data. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Knoxville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
