IT Support Specialist - device setup (Kansas City, MO)

Highbridge Orchard Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Kansas City area, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our device setup. We keep people connected and take outages personally. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with network equipment. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Kansas City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
