IT Support Specialist - device setup (Jacksonville, FL)

Silverline Thistle Learning Group is an education provider in Jacksonville serving students and families, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our device setup. Collaboration between teachers and staff is strong. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with family communication. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Jacksonville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
