IT Support Specialist - device setup (Indianapolis, IN)

Amberfield Beacon Water Authority is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on device setup for treatment plant data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 96 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with treatment plant data. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Indianapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
