IT Support Specialist - device setup (Indianapolis, IN)

Bright Birch Arts Center is an arts centre in Indianapolis with a full calendar of events, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our device setup. Evenings and weekends are part of the job. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with volunteer programmes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Indianapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
