IT Support Specialist - device setup (Houston, TX)

Highbridge Meridian Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Houston, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our device setup. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with field inspections. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Houston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
