IT Support Specialist - device setup (Honolulu, HI)

Amberfield Hollow Freight is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on device setup for loads and lanes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Honolulu. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Honolulu, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
