IT Support Specialist - device setup (Hartford, CT)

Cedar Wren Arts Center is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on device setup for event logistics, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 23 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with event logistics. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Hartford. • We reply to every applicant.
