IT Support Specialist - device setup (Hartford, CT)

Lumen Granite Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Hartford area, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our device setup. You would join a large organisation of about 330 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with billing accounts. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
