IT Support Specialist - device setup (Hartford, CT)

Harborlight Forge Inspection Services is an inspection company in Hartford with field technicians and lab staff. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. You would join a large organisation of about 283 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with client sites. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
