IT Support Specialist - device setup (Hartford, CT)

Rivermark Ridge Manufacturing makes precision components in Hartford. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with customer orders. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
