IT Support Specialist - device setup (Grand Rapids, MI)

Nova West Banking Services is a community-focused bank in Grand Rapids serving households and small businesses. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with account openings. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We reply to every applicant.
