IT Support Specialist - device setup (Fresno, CA)

Ironwood Umber Civic Services is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on device setup for case files, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 154 people based in Fresno. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with case files. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Fresno. • We reply to every applicant.
