IT Support Specialist - device setup (El Paso, TX)

Clearpath Vale Water Authority is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on device setup for treatment plant data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with treatment plant data. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in El Paso. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
