IT Support Specialist - device setup (El Paso, TX)

Summit Cobalt Construction Group builds commercial and industrial projects around El Paso, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our device setup. You would join a large organisation of about 455 people based in El Paso. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with permits. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in El Paso. • We reply to every applicant.
