IT Support Specialist - device setup (El Paso, TX)

Nova Nest Community Partners is a El Paso charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. You would join a large organisation of about 989 people based in El Paso. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with food distribution. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in El Paso. • We reply to every applicant.
