IT Support Specialist - device setup (Detroit, MI)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Harbor Health Group and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be device setup. You would join a small organisation of about 166 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with patient scheduling. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
