IT Support Specialist - device setup (Detroit, MI)

Lumen Wilder Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Detroit area, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our device setup. You would join a small organisation of about 12 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with attendance records. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
