IT Support Specialist - device setup (Detroit, MI)

Amberfield Fox Insurance is an insurance company in Detroit with claims and service teams. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with catastrophe response. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
