IT Support Specialist - device setup (Dallas, TX)

Harborlight Cedar Inspection Services is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on device setup for client sites, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 197 people based in Dallas. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with client sites. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Dallas, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
