IT Support Specialist - device setup (Columbus, OH)

Cedar Cross Facilities cleans and maintains buildings for schools, offices and hospitals around Columbus, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our device setup. Our crews keep other people's buildings running and we treat them well. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with work orders. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Columbus. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
