IT Support Specialist - device setup (Columbus, OH)

Nova Quarry Banking Services is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on device setup for loan files, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We keep decisions close to customers and expect people to explain things plainly. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with loan files. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Columbus, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
