IT Support Specialist - device setup (Columbus, OH)

Redstone Ridge Insurance Group is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on device setup for customer complaints, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with customer complaints. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Columbus. • We reply to every applicant.
