IT Support Specialist - device setup (Columbus, OH)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Yarrow Health and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be device setup. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with referrals. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Columbus. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
