IT Support Specialist - device setup (Chicago, IL)

Nova Umber Inspection Services Group is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on device setup for scheduling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with scheduling. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
