IT Support Specialist - device setup (Chicago, IL)

We are growing our team at Greenridge River Property Management and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be device setup. Residents are neighbours, not numbers. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with rent collection. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
