IT Support Specialist - device setup (Charlotte, NC)

Greenridge Umber Telecom is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on device setup for customer tickets, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We keep people connected and take outages personally. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with customer tickets. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Charlotte. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
