IT Support Specialist - device setup (Charlotte, NC)

Amberfield Quarry Telecom is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on device setup for network equipment, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 50 people based in Charlotte. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with network equipment. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Charlotte, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
