IT Support Specialist - device setup (Charlotte, NC)

Stonegate Ashton Civic Services Group provides shared administrative services to local governments around Charlotte. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. Benefits and stability attract long tenure. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with case files. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Charlotte. • We reply to every applicant.
