IT Support Specialist - device setup (Charleston, SC)

Lumen Orchard Telecom Group builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Charleston area, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our device setup. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with outage reports. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Charleston. • We reply to every applicant.
