IT Support Specialist - device setup (Charleston, SC)

Harborlight Sable Insurance provides coverage to households and businesses around Charleston, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our device setup. You would join a small organisation of about 91 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with policy renewals. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Charleston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
