IT Support Specialist - device setup (Buffalo, NY)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Glen Civic Services Group and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be device setup. Benefits and stability attract long tenure. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with budget submissions. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Buffalo. • We reply to every applicant.
