IT Support Specialist - device setup (Boston, MA)

Bluepeak Ember Financial Group is a financial-services company in Boston. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. You would join a small organisation of about 86 people based in Boston. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with payment disputes. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Boston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
