IT Support Specialist - device setup (Boston, MA)

Greenridge Umber Facilities Group is a facilities company in Boston with crews on day and night shifts. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. Our crews keep other people's buildings running and we treat them well. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with cleaning schedules. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Boston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
