IT Support Specialist - device setup (Boston, MA)

Amberfield Ashton Foods makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Boston, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our device setup. You would join a large organisation of about 810 people based in Boston. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with sanitation schedules. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Boston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
