IT Support Specialist - device setup (Baltimore, MD)

Highbridge Lakeside Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Baltimore. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with carrier rates. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Baltimore, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
