IT Support Specialist - device setup (Baltimore, MD)

Clearpath Linden Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Baltimore. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. You would join a large organisation of about 383 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with customer tracking. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Baltimore. • We reply to every applicant.
