IT Support Specialist - device setup (Atlanta, GA)

Greenridge River Water Authority is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on device setup for billing accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Atlanta. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Atlanta, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
