IT Support Specialist - device setup (Anchorage, AK)

Fernwood Orchard Hospitality runs guest-focused properties across the Anchorage area. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with reviews and feedback. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
