IT Support Specialist - device setup (Anchorage, AK)

Bluepeak Glen Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Anchorage. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. You would join a large organisation of about 763 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with client sites. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Anchorage, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
